Skylark Meats LLC, an American Foods Group Company has an opportunity for a Customer Service Representative at our Omaha, NE plant.
Customer Service Representative
- Provide sales department support to include backing up for export coordinator, credit, customer service, order entry, invoice entry, sales support and phone coverage.
- Print Fed Ex shipping labels for product samples.
- Direct customers complaints to designated contacts within the organization.
- Report to work with regular, predictable, and constant attendance.
Meat Store
- Perform meat store duties (typically 2 days a week and for events).
- Unload product from pallets and stock refrigerator in the meat store.
- Oversee the sale of product to employees.
- Following all policies regarding the sale of product.
- Identify, weigh, and price product.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the store.
- Perform end of shift processes.
- Order product as needed.

Skylark Meats LLC, an American Foods Group Company, has opportunities for Parts Clerk at our Omaha,NE plant.
As a Parts Clerk, you will:
- Receive incoming shipment, confirm accuracy and quality of products.
- Process incoming shipments (stock, special order, etc.) and parts room appropriately.
- Locate needed parts quickly and efficiently.
- Look for and suggest additional parts.
- Inquire with vendors immediately when parts are expected for arrival, if dates have changed or delays are expected.
- Communicate all problems, shortages or delays to the parts manager and or maintenance manager and supervisors as soon as possible.
- Maintain the parts room in a clean, properly stocked and in an orderly manner.
- Follow all company and department policies concerning invoicing, stocking and credits.
- Report and maintain list of lost sale information.
- Be sure that all parts core returns are properly checked and received.
- Must be able to follow directions from supervisor.
- Must be able to interact efficiently and have a high level of cooperation with co-workers
- Follow company guidelines when establishing parts buying prices.
- Ensure that all freight, restocking and or miscellaneous charges are properly charged as per company policy.
- Review all requests for Emergency Orders with parts manager prior to placing orders.
- Perform parts cycle counts and other inventory control.

Participate and utilize all parts training when available.

Maintain current knowledge of products represented by the company.

Actively participate in maintenance improvement training.

As our Maintenance Mechanic, you will:

Safely perform repairs and preventative maintenance on production floor and facility.

Work efficiently with production staff to support the day to day production processes with a sense of urgency.

Troubleshoot and rebuild on all types of food packaging machinery, motors, and similar devices.

Work safely with hydraulic, pneumatic, and thermal energies.

Report any deficiencies to a supervisor in a timely manner.

Maintain minimal production down time and solutions to reduce down time.

Correct use of lockout/tagout program.

Account for tools, utensils and other potentially dangerous equipment that are distributed daily.

Attend documented training on company procedures.

Keep the maintenance shop and all work areas clean and organized.

Follow all HACCP, SSOP’s, SOP’s, and GMP policies and procedures.

As our Quality Assurance Tech, you will:
- Calibrate equipment.
- Collect samples for testing.
- Accurately prepare and process daily paperwork in an organized manner.
- Perform visual line and finished product inspections to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Place tags to hold or reject product, materials, or equipment not meeting specifications.
- Notify supervisors or other personnel of production problems or stop production if serious product defects are present.
