Cimpl's Meats, LLC, an American Foods Group Company, has an opportunity for a Mechanical Engineering Tech I at our Yankton, SD plant.   We offer a competitive total compensation package and starting pay of $25.25 per hour.    As our Mechanical Engineering Tech I you will: - Identify and locate parts/part numbers from machinery or equipment manuals or parts catalogs (e.g., Cryovac, overhead chains, rail switches, conveyors, saws, etc.). - Perform basic welding (e.g., primarily tig; and stick). Ability to identify good and bad welds. - Perform routine preventive maintenance (e.g., grease bearings, lubricate, check fluid levels, replace filters, etc.) to ensure that machines run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate. - Assemble, install, or repair plumbing (e.g., threading pipe), equipment or machinery to keep machines, mechanical equipment, or the structure of an establishment in repair. - Assemble, disassemble, repair, or replace defective equipment or parts (e.g., change belts, gearboxes, etc.). - Perform basic hydraulics (e.g., change motors, make hoses, etc.). - Complete necessary paperwork in EAM system (PM sheets, work orders, etc.). - Basic knowledge of electrical components and operation. - NOTE: this description is not intended to be all-inclusive. American Foods Group, LLC has an opportunity for a Utilities Manager to join our team for our new America's Heartland Packing facility in Warren County, Missouri.   Summary: The Utilities Manager is accountable for the supply of industrial services for the plant(refrigeration, boiler operation/hot/cold water supplies for the facility), ensuring a safe, efficient, and reliable operation/maintenance of the equipment. - Plan, organize, and oversee all utilities for the facility (Ammonia refrigeration, gas fired boilers for steam generation, compressed air, cold/140/180 water for the facility) - Compliance with all federal, state, local and internal requirements from design through operation and maintenance of the plant.  Ensure employees are aware of the requirements and their responsibility. - Oversee facility PSM Program and collaborate with corporate engineering to ensure best practices are always being followed. - Ensure utilities maintenance activities are and work orders are completed in a timely manner, create and maintain records and reports as required by PSM, company or regulatory requirements. - Work closely with cross functional teams (Operations/QA/Engineering) to ensure facility needs are being met (temps/air flows/utilities etc.). - Maintain all utility departments equipment and ensure equipment is performing to high standards and in a safe manner at all times. - Provide technical guidance, direction, and develop specs for the utilities team (supervisors/techs/operators). - Ensure proper training for all refrigeration personnel i.e. operator training / PSM training, boiler personnel i.e.: boiler operator training / RMP training. - Maintain a team that is cross-functional and trained in different areas of utilities to ensure crewing changes do not impact the facility. - Establish and implement preventative maintenance programs and procedures for the utilities dept. - Requisition tools / equipment and supplies as needed (ensure critical spares are in stock at all times). - Promote and drive succession development with areas of responsibility. - NOTE: this description is not intended to be all-inclusive. American Foods Group, LLC has an opportunity for a Master Electrician to join our team for our new America's Heartland Packing facility in Warren County, Missouri.   Summary: The Master Electrician is a critical role that will support the plant build team as equipment and systems are installed and will transition into the Master Electrician position for the plant.  The ideal candidate is an experienced reliable professional that can assist or supervise the installation process and ensure all systems are correctly installed and in working order.  This role will report to the Plant Engineer.  - Assemble, install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, fixtures, and systems. Ensure that work is performed in accordance with relevant codes. - Place conduit, pipes, or tubing, inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes. - Design systems or assist in the design process, obtain any necessary permits and order parts and equipment.  - Diagnose technical issues on electrical systems; use diagnostic tools to test circuits, develop a solution to the problem and complete the repair work. May involve rewiring or reinstalling components. - Perform preventative maintenance to ensure electrical systems are up-to-date and safe. - Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring or equipment and to ensure conformance to building and safety codes. - Oversee the work of junior electricians; teach them the correct methods/practices, relevant codes, and pertinent regulations while ensuring safety guidelines are being followed. - Use a variety of tools or equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment, such as oscilloscopes, ammeters, or test lamps. - Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures. - NOTE: this description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
