You must have the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a dedication to quality.    As our Cattle Driver, you will: - Move cattle from pen to pen for ante-mortem inspection, check water troughs, and verify cattle counts per load. - Initial back of Ante-mortem card verifying cattle count. - Highlight front of card verifying all info is correct and signed by USDA. - Separate slow/challenged cattle. - Transport/move deads; use skid loader to clean pens. - NOTE: this description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Long Prairie Packing Company, LLC., an American Foods Group Company, has opportunities for a Wastewater Operator.   As our Wastewater Operator, you will: - Identify and locate parts/part numbers from machinery or equipment manuals or parts catalogs (e.g. Cryovac, overhead chains, rail switches, conveyors, saws, etc.). - Knowledge of and ability to perform basic welding (e.g. primarily tig; some mig and stick).  Ability to identify good and bad welds. - Perform routine preventative maintenance (e.g. grease bearings, lubricate, check fluid levels, replace filters, etc.) to ensure that machines run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate. - Assemble, install, or repair plumbing (e.g. threading pipe), equipment or machinery to keep machines, mechanical equipment, or the structure of an establishment in repair. - Complete necessary paperwork (PM sheets, work orders, etc.). - Notify lead or supervisor of any malfunctions or repairs needed. - Knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot centrifugal (chopper) and positive displacement pumps. - Knowledge of wastewater treatment, sampling, and testing procedures, including process flow. - NOTE: this description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Long Prairie Packing Company, LLC an American Foods Group Company has opportunities for General Production at our Long Prairie, Minnesota plant.   8-11+ hours/day, 5-6 days/week Hiring for day shift ONLY   As General Production - Harvest you will: - Perform a variety of specialized tasks in a warm, hot, humid or wet environment. - Properly use tools such as knives, hooks, or other specialized equipment. - Perform physical tasks which require upper body strength and constant repetitive movements. - Stand on hard surfaces the entire shift; use of stairs and personal protection equipment (PPE) is required in all areas of the facility. - Compliance with all food safety policies and regulations. - Adhere to all safety and housekeeping processes and procedures to ensure safety for our employees, customers and visitors. - Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions. - Work and collaborate with a diverse work population. - NOTE: this description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
