Skylark Meats LLC, an American Foods Group company has opportunities for Building Maintenance at our Omaha plant.   As our Maintenance Mechanic, you will: - Safely perform repairs and preventative maintenance on production floor and facility. - Work efficiently with production staff to support the day to day production processes with a sense of urgency. - Troubleshoot and rebuild on all types of food packaging machinery, motors, and similar devices. - Work safely with hydraulic, pneumatic, and thermal energies. - Report any deficiencies to a supervisor in a timely manner. - Maintain minimal production down time and solutions to reduce down time. - Correct use of lockout/tagout program. - Account for tools, utensils and other potentially dangerous equipment that are distributed daily. - Attend documented training on company procedures. - Keep the maintenance shop and all work areas clean and organized. - Follow all HACCP, SSOP’s, SOP’s, and GMP policies and procedures. - NOTE: this description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
