Boxed Ground Beef Salesperson

American Foods Group, LLC, a family owned, privately held, meat processing company with locations across the Midwest, has a Boxed Ground Beef Salesperson opening at our Corporate Office in Green Bay, WI. As a key member of the Sales team, you will find yourself challenged and contributing in a significant way to the success of the business. As a Boxed Ground Beef Salesperson, you will be a key contributor to the Sales team. Position responsibilities will include:

• Effective communicating and relationship building with various customers related to your area of sales.
• Successfully managing and developing ground beef, boxed beef, variety meat and export sales beef accounts are all opportunities.                                                                
• Maintaining and expanding existing accounts’ volume and product mix.                                            
• Negotiating sales with customers while handling market complexity.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

• Computer Literacy in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and others as required (i.e. AS400).
• Exceptional communication and strong leadership qualities while navigating through complex situations. 
• General understanding of the sales process (sales reports, prices lists, program selling, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Business Administration, Agricultural Science or related field.
• Knowledge of the agriculture community and specifically beef production.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to make independent decisions while initiating and developing customer base. Must be a self-starter.
