Overview

Location: Eagan, MN

Internship Dates: Full Time for approximately 12 weeks (May - August)

 

As a Finance and Accounting Intern, you will: Gain knowledge and understanding of the business through hands on activities, coaching, and projects. A few learning opportunities include:

  • Assist in reconciling bank statements, general ledgers, and sub-ledgers to ensure accuracy.
  • Basics of daily cash management.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts under supervision.
  • Help track cash inflows and outflows, assisting with liquidity management in treasury functions.
  • Assist in gathering data for budget preparation and variance analysis.
  • Help ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Gain and understanding of management reporting and assist in the creation of reporting.
  • Conduct basic financial analysis, such as trend analysis or cost-benefit evaluations, as directed.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

  • Must have completed your Junior year at a credited College or University.
  • Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Have the desire and ability to work well both independently and cross functionally.
  • Are willing to engage others through strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Are an inquisitive individual that has a desire to gain knowledge through experience.
  • Ability to perform all duties required in both office and manufacturing environments wearing proper PPE.
  • Have reliable transportation to and from working location.
