America’s Service Line, LLC., the private fleet to American Foods Group, LLC., has opportunities for a Fleet Maintenance Lead at our Green Bay, WI location.  We are searching for someone who is outgoing, creative, and dedicated to supporting our team.

As our Fleet Maintenance Lead, you will:

  • Lead and provide direction to mechanics to ensure all repair and maintenance work is performed efficiently, in a clean and safe environment.
  • Manage daily workloads as part of maintaining the Preventative Maintenance Program.
  • Oversee repair diagnostics on more complex matters and provide training to mechanics, where necessary; may be required to road test vehicles to determine necessary repairs.
  • Perform a wide variety of repairs and diagnostic tasks for various makes and models of semi-tractors, semi-trailers, refrigeration units, yard trucks, and related equipment.
  • Address Daily Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) write ups and maintain all local equipment.
  • Make appointments & schedule repairs as needed for fleet equipment.
  • Assist Drivers with mechanical breakdowns over the road.
  • Provide weekend support to OTR Drivers, as needed.
  • Ensure work orders are completed properly and accurately.
  • Work closely with the transportation teams providing maintenance status of breakdowns and other issues.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CDL Class A license.
  • Experience in Fleet Maintenance.
  • Technical training.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Demonstrate strong organization, prioritizing, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Must be able to work with department-designated computer software.
  • Strong mechanical ability.
  • Ability to make quick, calculated decisions.
