Overview

Job Summary
The Lead person role is to provide direction and support to ensure all tasks and objectives are completed successfully.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge and understanding of all tasks within a department.
  • Using tools such as a hook, knife and equipment to safely and properly dress carcasses.
  • Communicate with employees and management to quickly and effectively resolve production issues or concerns.
  • If contamination is present, use a hook and knife to remove any visible contamination.
  • Follow proper sanitation procedures

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Must be able to work in a humid, hot, wet, slippery, or moving surface at varied heights in and around moving equipment and parts with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience/knowledge of manufacturing environment.
  • Previous heavy machinery experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Previous agriculture production/ beef plant experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Be attentive to detail.
  • Ability to work safely, wear PPE, and follow instructions.
  • Ability to attend work consistently.
  • Always be aware of your surroundings.
  • Follow all safety, food safety, animal welfare and sanitary dress procedures.

Summary

America's Heartland Packing is set to open its doors in early 2025. The 775,000 sq. ft. greenfield project will include a harvest floor, carcass chillers, fabrication area, rendering, further processing area, storage coolers, freezers, and loading docks.
