Job Summary
The Purchasing Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the procurement team by managing the acquisition of goods and services necessary for the smooth operation of the organization. This position involves assisting with the procurement process, from vendor selection and order placement to inventory management and record-keeping. The Purchasing Assistant will work closely with vendors, internal departments, and the purchasing team to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, desk phones, and smartphones. The position will also be required to regularly visit production facility work environments.
