Minimum Qualifications (Required):
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in basic mathematical operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot various equipment and systems, including cooking systems, and waste treatment systems
- Strong organizational skills, time management abilities, and attention to detail
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes quickly
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a rendering facility or production environment preferred
- Works well with others in a team environment
- Dependable; reliable; ability to work nights and/or weekends as needed
- Strong industrial maintenance background and problem solving
- Experience with maintenance management system, Infor/EAM
- Previous experience in meat industry rendering & waste pre-treatment
- Bi-lingual (speaking, reading, and writing). Fluency in Spanish, Karenni, French, & Creole is highly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- High temp, continuous rendering systems
- DAF wastewater pre-treatment experience
- Ability to attend work consistently
- Must be able to withstand long periods in cold, warm, or wet/damp environments.
- Maintain a clean work area
- Be adaptable and dependable with the ability to follow direction and work in cooperation with others
- Ability to perform consistent, accurate work minimal direction and work successfully as part of a team

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk or sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects. Occasionally lift up to 25 lbs. Must be able to stand for 8 hours and work 12 hour shifts occasionally. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
