Skylark Meats LLC, an American Foods Group Company, has opportunities for 2nd shift General Production at our Omaha, NE plant.   As General Production, you will: - Work in a wet, cold and damp environment doing a variety of tasks such as handling raw meat and packing product in boxes. - Duties will vary depending on position placed in and production requirements. - May require the use of the tools/equipment (i.e. knife and/or hook). - Perform physical tasks which require upper body strength and constant repetitive movements. - Stand on hard surfaces the entire shift; use of stairs and personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in all areas of the facility. - Compliance with all food safety policies and regulations. - Adhere to all safety and housekeeping processes and procedures to ensure safety for our employees, customers, and visitors. - Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Skylark Meats LLC, an American Foods Group Company has an opportunity for a Customer Service Representative at our Omaha, NE plant.   Customer Service Representative - Provide sales department support to include backing up for export coordinator, credit, customer service, order entry, invoice entry, sales support and phone coverage. - Print Fed Ex shipping labels for product samples. - Direct customers complaints to designated contacts within the organization. - Report to work with regular, predictable, and constant attendance. Meat Store - Perform meat store duties (typically 2 days a week and for events). - Unload product from pallets and stock refrigerator in the meat store. - Oversee the sale of product to employees. - Following all policies regarding the sale of product. - Identify, weigh, and price product. - Maintain the cleanliness of the store. - Perform end of shift processes.  - Order product as needed. - NOTE: this description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Skylark Meats LLC, an American Foods Group company has opportunities for Building Maintenance at our Omaha plant.   As our Maintenance Mechanic, you will: - Safely perform repairs and preventative maintenance on production floor and facility. - Work efficiently with production staff to support the day to day production processes with a sense of urgency. - Troubleshoot and rebuild on all types of food packaging machinery, motors, and similar devices. - Work safely with hydraulic, pneumatic, and thermal energies. - Report any deficiencies to a supervisor in a timely manner. - Maintain minimal production down time and solutions to reduce down time. - Correct use of lockout/tagout program. - Account for tools, utensils and other potentially dangerous equipment that are distributed daily. - Attend documented training on company procedures. - Keep the maintenance shop and all work areas clean and organized. - Follow all HACCP, SSOP’s, SOP’s, and GMP policies and procedures. - NOTE: this description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Skylark Meats, LLC., an American Foods Group Company, has an opportunity for a Quality Assurance Tech at our Omaha, NE plant.   As our Quality Assurance Tech, you will: - Calibrate equipment. - Collect samples for testing. - Accurately prepare and process daily paperwork in an organized manner. - Perform visual line and finished product inspections to ensure conformance to specifications. - Place tags to hold or reject product, materials, or equipment not meeting specifications. - Notify supervisors or other personnel of production problems or stop production if serious product defects are present. - NOTE: this description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
