Skylark Meats LLC, an American Foods Group Company, has opportunities for Parts Clerk at our Omaha,NE plant.
As a Parts Clerk, you will:
- Receive incoming shipment, confirm accuracy and quality of products.
- Process incoming shipments (stock, special order, etc.) and parts room appropriately.
- Locate needed parts quickly and efficiently.
- Look for and suggest additional parts.
- Inquire with vendors immediately when parts are expected for arrival, if dates have changed or delays are expected.
- Communicate all problems, shortages or delays to the parts manager and or maintenance manager and supervisors as soon as possible.
- Maintain the parts room in a clean, properly stocked and in an orderly manner.
- Follow all company and department policies concerning invoicing, stocking and credits.
- Report and maintain list of lost sale information.
- Be sure that all parts core returns are properly checked and received.
- Must be able to follow directions from supervisor.
- Must be able to interact efficiently and have a high level of cooperation with co-workers
- Follow company guidelines when establishing parts buying prices.
- Ensure that all freight, restocking and or miscellaneous charges are properly charged as per company policy.
- Review all requests for Emergency Orders with parts manager prior to placing orders.
- Perform parts cycle counts and other inventory control.

Participate and utilize all parts training when available.

Maintain current knowledge of products represented by the company.

Actively participate in maintenance improvement training.
