Job Summary
The Occupational Health Coordinator plays a critical role in promoting and maintaining the health and safety of employees within the workplace. This position involves providing clinical care, implementing health and safety programs, and ensuring compliance with occupational health regulations. The occupational health nurse will work closely with management and employees to address health concerns, manage work-related injuries and illnesses, and support overall wellness initiatives.

Work Environment
This position operates in the office and in the plant. Most of the time the health assistant will be in an office/clinic setting. But the assistant will be called to the plant to assist in first aid and emergency situations. Assistant will also be involved in plant audits.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk or sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. The employee will be subject to heat and to cold temperatures.
