As our Senior Credit Analyst, you will: 

  • Review, recommend, and update credit lines of existing and new customers based on available credit information, payment trends, industry notifications, and financial statement analysis.
  • Monitor customer payments and pursue collection of unearned cash discount and outstanding accounts receivable.
  • Review, release, and/or hold customer orders based upon credit guidelines, customer financials, industry notifications, and payment trends.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years experience as a Credit or Financial Analyst.
  • Experience working in an ERP credit/collection environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior food industry experience.
  • International credit experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong working knowledge of cash against documents, letters of  credit, credit insurance, and bankruptcy laws.
  • Strong financial analytical skills.
  • Ability to research and evaluate data to make informed decisions and problem solve.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong knowledge of  MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive information; sense of discretion.
